The story focuses around a group of out of control spoilt and rebellious rich kids who are sent to a remote island tough love school by their parents as a last resort to fix their kids.
Things go south when a group of armed mercenaries force their way onto the remote island and take over the school. They then make demands for $1 billion non-negotiable ransom, or they will kill the teens.
The rebellious students realise they may not get out alive, and that it is up to them to save themselves, but they must rely on one of their group who escaped from the hostage takers when they arrived.
He comes back to help them escape, and once they have escaped they are forced to rely on each other to survive, and together they decide to fight back against the armed mercenaries in an all out battle for survival with limited places to hide.
